Exchange & Return Policy

At Luggage Leather LLC, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely happy with your leather bag or accessory for any reason, we are here to help. This policy applies to all purchases made through our website luggageleather.com.

 

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

 

Time Frame: You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

 

Condition: Items must be unused, unmarked, and in their original condition. All original tags, dust bags, and packaging must be attached and included. We cannot accept returns for items that show signs of wear, scratches, stains, or any odor (including perfume, smoke, or leather conditioner).

 

Final Sale Items: Certain items are non-returnable (see Section 6 below).

 

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Contact our customer service team at service@luggageleather.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Please include the reason for the return.

 

Step 2: You will receive a return authorization confirmation and the return shipping address. Do not send your item back before receiving authorization.

 

Step 3: Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging (including dust bag if applicable). Include your order number inside the package.

 

Step 4: Ship the return package using a trackable shipping method. We recommend keeping your shipping receipt and tracking number. Luggage Leather LLC is not responsible for returns lost in transit without proof of delivery.

 

3. Return Shipping Costs

Due to our error (defective product or wrong item shipped): We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

 

For all other returns (change of mind, ordered wrong item, found a better price elsewhere, etc.): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The original shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable.

 

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. This process typically takes 3 to 5 business days after receipt.

 

Approval: If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

Rejection: If the returned item does not meet our eligibility criteria (used, scratched, missing dust bag, etc.), we will contact you to arrange for the item to be sent back to you at your own expense, and no refund will be issued.

 

Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted at our sole discretion for items that show minor signs of handling but are not in fully resalable condition.

 

5. Exchanges

We offer free exchanges for the same item in a different color or size (if applicable to the product). For example, exchanging a backpack from black to brown, or a briefcase from 15-inch to 17-inch laptop size.

 

To request an exchange:

 

Follow the return process above to return the original item. In your email to service@luggageleather.com, clearly state that you want an exchange and specify the desired color/size.

 

Once we receive and approve your return, we will ship the new item to you at no additional shipping cost.

 

Note: Exchanges are subject to inventory availability. If the requested variant is out of stock, we will process a full refund instead.

 

For exchanges of a different product (e.g., returning a backpack for a duffel bag), please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

 

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

 

Items marked as Final Sale, Clearance, or Closeout at the time of purchase.

 

Gift cards.

 

Items that show signs of use, such as scratches, scuffs, stains, or odors.

 

Items returned after 30 days from the delivery date.

 

Personalized or monogrammed items (if we offer customization in the future).

 

Worn or altered items (e.g., holes added for straps).

 

7. International Returns

For customers outside the United States:

 

You are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs fees, duties, and taxes associated with returning an item to us.

 

We recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking and insurance.

 

Refunds will be issued for the product price only; original shipping charges and any applicable import fees paid to your local customs are non-refundable.

 

8. Gift Returns

If you received an item as a gift, you may return it for store credit in the form of a Luggage Leather LLC gift card. Please contact service@luggageleather.com with the gift giver's order number. Refunds cannot be issued to the original payment method for gift returns.

 

9. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective item (e.g., broken zipper, torn stitching) or the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at service@luggageleather.com. Provide:

 

Your order number

 

A description of the issue

 

Clear photos showing the defect or incorrect item

 

We will arrange for a prepaid return label and send a replacement at no cost to you. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund including original shipping costs will be provided.
